UNTOLD explores the extraordinary life of Joseph Shabalala, the founder and musical director of the renowned South African singing group Ladysmith Black Mambazo. With Joseph’s recent passing on the 11th February 2020, never has there been a more relevant time to tell the story of this African Icon.
Featuring previously unseen archive and exclusive interviews with Joseph and the Shabalala family and stars like Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Dolly Parton and Reverend Desmond Tutu, the film will take the audience on the odyssey of his life from humble beginnings to global success.
